Meet Senna Design Studio
After falling in love with the city's emerging architecture and the use of beautiful natural textiles throughout NW and the Pearl District, Fernanda made the move to Portland by way of Utah in 2012. Much of her passion for design stems from living abroad as well as her extensive training at Ensign College. It was there she continued growing her technical knowledge-base and skills as an interior designer.
Fernanda has a true eye for pairing modern designs with timeless pieces of art and hard and soft materials as she leverages her education to transform rooms into balanced and aesthetically pleasing spaces. She considers it a privilege to be welcomed into her clients' homes to share her passion as she creates spaces that bring to life their stories in ways they could have only imagined.

Full Style Services by Senna Design Studio
Studio Design Session
Studio Sessions are designed to start your project off right. A one hour consultation at Senna’s studio office is a great way to get advice on all things interior design. From paint colors and floorpans to furniture and materials, design sessions are the best way for clients to meet with our designer and get professional answers to all their design questions. It’s also a great opportunity to explore material options, order samples and set the direction of your project.
Full Service Interior Design
Senna’s Full Service Interior Design option is intended for clients who want to redesign single or multiple spaces. Our designer listens to client ideas and goals and begins to formulate a design based on the client's vision, including insights they may not have yet thought of. Project complexities range from single wall to full room redesign and include everything from space layout and floorpan to lighting options, hard materials such as flooring and tile, furniture, and styling.
Styling by Senna
Styling by Senna is for clients who are looking for guidance on their own design project. This option is great for DIYers who are confident enough to take on the project themselves but want coaching on ideas and goals from a professional.
Project Design Process
Intake
When Senna Design Studio receives a project intake form, our designer thoroughly reviews project details, requirements, goals and timelines provided to determine how to best utilize their expertise and partner with the client. We will always respond via email to set up a consultation or request additional project details if needed, typically within 48 hours.
Consultation
Senna's design consultations take place in-person or via Zoom and gives clients the chance to meet with our designer and expand upon their project goals. The time will be used to gather all necessary information from the client before our designer begins working on the initial project plan.
Muse Board Creation & Revision
Senna's designer pulls together material samples, cost comparisons, floorpans, layout options and similar existing design inspiration to present to the client in the form of a muse board. Client's may request up to 2 revisions of the design once receiving the initial board presentation. Additional redesigns available for a fee.
On-site Implementation
The fun begins! Senna's designer is on site to bring the project to life. If contractors have been hired for part of the project, this is when installation will take place. Project implementation time will vary depending on project complexity.
